As you all know, this week is the final week.
“You’re beautiful” will end. The last two episodes will run over our screens.

To ease the pain, we thought desperately about a solution. And we think we found one. Please let us introduce to you:

Below is a translated fan account of the You’re Beautiful DC gallery’s visit to the set of “You’re Beautiful”. All 4 members were very cute in their reponses. The parts corresponding to the YB fan project have been highlighted

The event was meant to be on saturday but was delayed til sunday. In order to improve the quality of the presents and the wrapping, they (the event team – ie the ppl from the YB DC gallery who worked prepaing this project) started to work at them more. They had already spent 4 nights and day working on the presents for the actors and even til the last minute they were constantly trying to make everything like nicer.
After everything was ready, they waited for the marketing manager’s call and received the news that they will evenbe able to see jeremy (they were told that coz of his schedules, he was going to be absent at the set).
They were told that the filming was at 7pm at the uiwang office and they moved everything into the car and set out.
They arrived at the destination in their vans and it was dark and the weather was very cold.
As they moved all the goods indoors, they discovered that there were some fans (not part of their group). They found out that Shinwoo was waiting for his part to be shot and at the moment was reading the script (in the car). Because the light was on, they could see his face very well. But the event team was so busy moving the stuffinside they didnt have a chance to really look.
After they moved everything inside, the crew told them that they hadnt even started filming yet (this was before (Mi nam had arrived) and asked if they wanted to meet shin woo alone first or wait til all 3 of them were present. So they started to the wait for all 3 actors.
During this tim, Shinwoo wore a yellow parker and was walking back and forth with a member of the crew. There were a lot of fans but he wa walking back and forth in front of a place wher the event team indoors coul see. He saw the event team and seemed abit surprised. They heard that Mi nam had arrived and the crew informed them and asked for their cooperation and they waited quietly.
2 of the fans went into the toilet and inside they were writing up the question paper (for the actors later on). Wihle they wereworking on it, Mi nam suddenly entered the toilet andwas looking into the mirror! They were very surprised and just looked at Mi nam, who was touching the bit under her eyes and saying, how come it’s like this (think she was tlkaing about her dark circles?)
Mi nam saw her and she was smiling but seemed to be holding it in. Then she went outside and filming started
In between the filming, actors were joking around with each other. When Minam was talking to president Ahn, she looked very serious. The atmosphere at the set was a relaxed one and everyone seemed to be friendly with each other.
While the event team was watching the filming, Tae kyung arrived at the place where the event team was waiting.. straght after he saw them, he said “It’s so cold, thanks for coming all the way here” and dashed into the toilet
Inside, he changed clothes and fixed his hair. Anyway, the moment he came out, it was as if he walked out of the screen, like a real star (they are referring him as in a twinkling star, as mi nam refers to him in the series, not like a star celebrity star) with a halo around his head. His face was very small and everything about his body was in proportion
Since he was preparing inside the toilet, the event team just played around amongst themselves and was getting prepared. The crew came to tell them that the filming on level 2 had finished and that some actors were leaving.
Manager Ma said that he will see them at Yeouido (the venue for the 2nd part of their event) and ran out. They however gathered president Ahn and reporter Kim.
President Ahn was very cool and from him, one could feel that not anyone can be an actor. They gave him his present and told him that they were from the YB DC gallery. He thanked them.
He signed an autogrpah for the YB DC gallery and opened the present in front of them (it was an english book). He said that his english pronounciation was good. At this moment, Tae kyung yelled from the toilet “Jackpot!”
President Ahn said, if You’re beautiful season 2 comes out, please cheer us on. He took a photo with the team and left as he thanked them.
After President Ahn left, they gave reporter kim his present and talked to him. He was different from his character in the drama and seemed reserved and cool. He said that his character was originally meant to be a character that exited from the drama early but because of the writers, he is still in the drama now! He smiled shyly after saying this
He signed for them and thanked them for coming out
Both president Ahn and reporter Kim were very actor-like. Anyway during all this time, tae kyung was in the toilet and filming was being carried out at other places where the event team couldnt see
then taekyung finally came out from the toilet after getting prepared. Even before he went into the toilet he was looking good but after he came out, he shone! He was wearing pins on his head to fix his hair into place keke.. esp on the left side of his hair he wore a pink pin which was very pretty
Anyway, he came out and stood right in the middle and looked at us one by one as if he was giving a talk as he talked to us. His expression looked good and he kept smiling. He really seemed like a veteran actor and really knew how to treat fans.
His first words were:
“I have something to confess… well i wrote something on the YB DC gall but it got buried in the pool of msgs.. I was intending to provide some spoilers..the thing that i remembered the most from what ppl said to me was “Go somewhere else and play”
(wahahaha this is really hilarious because he responded to someone’s post but ppl didnt believe it was him since there was no proof. Other actors such as park shin hye have uploaded some photos of herself with her msg as proof. So ppl thought he was a fake)
He put his hand on his heart as if he was really hurt and had this expression on his face as if saying “How can this happen”.. while he was saying this, he kept looking to his manager and smiling
The event team told him that he should have done something to prove his identity and he said that he doesnt do things like that keke
They also asked if he goes on the YB DC gallery alot and he said because during the filming, it is important to see the response of the viewers, he goes on alot (he said nearly everyday) in between shooting, even more than sbs homepage.
So they asked whether he had seen the Go MiNam song and he said that he has seen both the go mi nam and jeremy song.. he thought it was very funny and even wants to use it as his ring tone (i havent seen this but i think the GMN and Jeremy songs are fan made videos made by fans at the DC gall)
So they said that they actually brought the GMN song to show him and he asked whether they could sing it live and he looked at Jolie (nickname of one of the fans)…
After talking with the event team for about 10 minutes, he said he had to start filming and siad see you later. He smiled and walked out
Filming continued on the 2nd floor and the event team continued to wait. Tae Kyung’s manager came down and asked if there was anything to eat. Geun Suk said he was hungry so he wanted to ask if they could have the event presents in advance wahaha…. it seems that TK went without food before going into shooting TT
TK and MN was filming and kept joking around with each other.. off camera, MN touched TK’s hair
The filming time kept running later than expected and the supper prepared at yeouido also had to be pushed back continuously. The event team was deciding whether they should give the presents to the actors indoors here or wait til supper at the 2nd venue and do it all together outside and discvussed this with the marketing manager.
After filming had surpassed 10pm, they decided to give out the presents to the crew at uiwang and crazily started to unload the stuff from the car. The YB DC gall team especially wrote by hand all the names of the crew (over 100 ppl) and attached the names to each bag given to them. While they were preparing, Mi nam kept looking at them as she was filming from the 2nd level.
There was only the last scene left to film so one of the fans was running with a box in her arms and nearly tripped over. Mi Nam saw and smiled. Jolie dragged a box along and up above, Mi nam who was watching shouted out “Run Run!” and laughed.
As they lay out the presents, some ppl from the crew kept saying “wow”. It seemed taht they were used to dividing things amongst themselves and that it was the first time for them that the presents were actually personalised in such a way.
Anyway during this time, SHinwoo was looking at them and made eye contact with one of the fans whose nickname had Shinwoo’s name in it (the event team had name tags). Shinwoo saw her nick and smiled.
During this time, MN was playing around. But as soon as theystarted filming, SW changd and got very serious. Very pro and cool. During filmng, he kept looking over to them in between filming and his expression was one of expectation. Evn though in the drama he is like an oppa, in reality, he seems like someone in their early 20′s. In he last ep, his skin didnt look so good but here his face looked small and his skin was white. He looked like a child and looked pure and cute.
finally the filming finished and the actors came down. MN and TK were linking arms and looked very close! (Not like a couple but more like siblings hahah) SW looked like he was close with TK too and all 3 of them looked like close friends.
In this way, the event started and the actors walked in. Besides the fans in charge of taking photos, ohers were busy giving out the presents to the crew. The crew were very amazed at the personalised name labels… they especially liked the cigarettes! Alot of the crew members were like “Waaa there are even cigarettes?” The event team also included food esp ordered for the crew which the crew really liked and found amazing (what food it was will be revealed later on). The crew had to leave straight away for the other venue to prepare for filming, each team (eg camera,lighting etc) took the remaining presents from their group and left
So the actors sat down in the prepared seats (each with a different coloured box in front of if for the different person). TK saidlike a leader “One, two, three” nd they all opened the boxes at the same time.
After they opened the boxes, they all went “Wow wow!” and liked it alot. They really looked very touched. All the boxes were matched to each actor.
Inside the boxes had the specially made A.N.Jell glowsticks which the actors were all very amazed at and TK kept switching it on and off and playing with it.
They continued to “Wow wow” and looked at the presents one by one. Because there were so many presnts, the event team explained one by one how thy made that present, why they gave them that present etc. MN really liked the handkerchief and left it around her neck. The moment she saw the handkerchief, she said to TK “Hyung nim!!”
It’s probably because that MN is a girl she liked the cute things. All the presents prepared for her matched vry well and she really liked them.
YB DC gall also designed and made their own hoodie, one for each actor with the names – renai jang, ah bang hye, boolmae jung and hong star to give to them as a prsent.
TK liked the glowstick and said indeed this is made by YB DC gall. All 3 of them loved the hoodie and kept holding it up against themselves and looking at each other’s
Especially, TK really really liked the book made by overseas fans which had msgs and photos in it. He kept reading and looking at it and was very touched. There was a period of time where he didnt say anything and just kept reading.
He also said he really like his personal presents and was very surprised. MN seemed jealous lol
Myabe because SW is still a newcomer, he didnt know that such presents would be given and he seemed very surprised and really seemed to like it. He didnt say much but answered questions as the event team asked him. He kept saying thank you. He looked at the hoodie and said “Ah, i cant wear it now” and seemed sad. Also as fan service, in order for the photo to look nice, he removed the clothes and stuff on his legs and said to MN, should i wear this tomorrow? He confirmed that his hoodie had the initials for bool mae jung (BM jung)
Minam looked at the hoodie also and said let’s all wear it for the shooting of the last episode

All 3 actors looked atall the items one by one, including the little presents and asked about them. More than 7 hrs was spent in making one of the first present for MN, fortunately she liked it.
AFter, they lookedat the question paper from the DC gall and MN and SW started joking around after they read the questions.
they signed autographs then they took photos. The event team asked the actors to hold the presents they liked the most and hold them up for the photo (Yes, Geun suk held up our book!). SW said “Ok, then i’m going to pick this all up” and picked up the whole box kekeke
Anyway during the group shot, MN said to SW “Shin woo ah, our relationship is a dog catching relationship right? Come and catch dogs with noona” (if you remember back to previous ep when SW was talking about his country accent)
Another touching thing was the event team asked the actors to sign autographs for the overseas fans but coz the photogrpahers were busy taking group photos they couldnt. After the photos were finished, MN remembered that and said straightaway “That A4 piece of paper which we need to sign…”and went looking for the piece of paper (but what happened to it? MN and SW forgot to address he overseas fans on their autogrpah)
TK signed with a magic marker and MN said “I want to sign with a magic marker too”
All 3 actors seemed very happy and the event team felt that staying up for 4 days and 4 nights was worth it
They had to go and thanked everyone. TK said that he will go to the DC gall… MN said teh day that she left a msg on YB DC gall (this was 2 weeks ago or so?), TK was going to do it but MN ended pding it instead before him.
As they left, MN said ah we will see at Yeouido again
Both SW and TK kept saying thank you and one of the event team members brought out her notebook and showed TK the Bi bim myun parody from the YB DC gall

TK said he had seen the post title but had not clicked in to watch and laughed out loudly as he watched.
As the event was carried out, it turned into a press conference. There were other fans including chinese fans there not from the YB DC gall and was a bit confusing but all 3 actors were calm and nice to everyone.
There will be more details on what each actor said about each present later on.
The filming at Uiwang was finished and they moved onto Yeouido. The supper they ordered in advance was finally delivered. TK and SW had finished their filming and didnt go to Yeouido.
They arrived at Yeouido and there was only 1 filming car there. It was really really cold. When the pizza and chicken which they had ordered arrived, they left i in the car and waited for the filming team to arrive.
MN arrived and they called out to her “Mi nam ah” and she smiled and greeted them
They moved venues a bit and whle waiting they met with the marketing manager – the person who had helped them the most in this event!
The filming team was considerate and arranged for them to be able to park their car near the actors and filming crew. So the event team was able to prepare and wait comfortably inside the car. Because it was jeremy’s turn t film, there was alot of sa saeng fans (fans who followed and invaded into the private lives of the celebs). The event team saw a few taxis and also the chinese fans who came fromt e Uiwang site.
MN started filming and during this, Jeremy arrived!!
The presents were given to jeremy but because it was late night filming (it was past 12am) ad coz it was outdoors, they couldnttalk for long. But when they saw him, they had this thought: Hong Gi = Jeremy
His double eyelids were very pretty and even though it was cold, he looked at the presents one by one and thanked them. They told him that they came from the YB DC gall and he said that he didnt know what DC was. They asked whetherhe could come and leave a mg and he asked do u just sign up and leave a msg
veyr very cute!! (from another fan account, HOng gi actually asked whether u had to pay to sign up. LOL)
Hongstar saw the hoodie and liked it. They told him that they saw the concert and he said “Ah did you come to the concert?” and started talking alot about the concert. He asked whether many ppl went to see the concert and thoght that not many went but they told him that the YB DC gall were filled with fan accounts of the FT concert over the weekend and he was very happy.
Although he must be tired from filming and the concert, his expression was bright.
He needed to start filming and wanted to ask him for his autograph. Jolie called one of the fans by her nickname and called out “Shin woo ah” to her. Jeremy was like “Shin woo ah?” and laughed
He signed and told them to come to the concert in the future. That during the concert, that their live singing ability is so good you couldnt tell if it was live or lipsynch
then they saw manager ma but because he was still filming they couldnt give him the present and had to pass it on. They even prepared a prsent for his kid.
Because of filming they were very busy and the food continued to be in the car. The marketing manager came to tell them that the filming would finisharound 6-7am and told them to leave the food and just go. They said they couldnt do that and decided to co ntinue waiting.
They watche from afar as the actors continued filming. It was so cold and the crew really liked the hot packs which they had given the crew.
By this time only about 5 ppl fromthe event team were left. Becuase noone knew when the filming would finish so they couldnt sleep andket waiting. During this time, jeremy kept walking in front of them every now and again.
During a break, MN went back to her van for a bit and saw that they were still there adn she had her eyes wide openandsaid “You guys are still here?”
So the event team asked is it ok to give out the food now to the manager
the manager thanked them and took food over. MN stuck her head out fromt he front seat of her van and said to them “I will eat it well!
They also wanted to give it to jeremy but he had to start filming straight awayTT
Inside the car, they were drinking the warm drinks which the marketing manager had bought them
The crew came to their car to get the food and shared it around~ everyone kept saying thank you
MN told the crew taht she ate the food
THey wanted to give the director a present as well so they continued to wait.

So they said that they actually brought the GMN song to show him and he asked whether they could sing it live and he looked at Jolie (nickname of one of the fans)…
After talking with the event team for about 10 minutes, he said he had to start filming and siad see you later. He smiled and walked out
Filming continued on the 2nd floor and the event team continued to wait. Tae Kyung’s manager came down and asked if there was anything to eat. Geun Suk said he was hungry so he wanted to ask if they could have the event presents in advance wahaha…. it seems that TK went without food before going into shooting TT
TK and MN was filming and kept joking around with each other.. off camera, MN touched TK’s hair
The filming time kept running later than expected and the supper prepared at yeouido also had to be pushed back continuously. The event team was deciding whether they should give the presents to the actors indoors here or wait til supper at the 2nd venue and do it all together outside and discvussed this with the marketing manager.
After filming had surpassed 10pm, they decided to give out the presents to the crew at uiwang and crazily started to unload the stuff from the car. The YB DC gall team especially wrote by hand all the names of the crew (over 100 ppl) and attached the names to each bag given to them. While they were preparing, Mi nam kept looking at them as she was filming from the 2nd level.
There was only the last scene left to film so one of the fans was running with a box in her arms and nearly tripped over. Mi Nam saw and smiled. Jolie dragged a box along and up above, Mi nam who was watching shouted out “Run Run!” and laughed.
As they lay out the presents, some ppl from the crew kept saying “wow”. It seemed taht they were used to dividing things amongst themselves and that it was the first time for them that the presents were actually personalised in such a way.
Anyway during this time, SHinwoo was looking at them and made eye contact with one of the fans whose nickname had Shinwoo’s name in it (the event team had name tags). Shinwoo saw her nick and smiled.
During this time, MN was playing around. But as soon as theystarted filming, SW changd and got very serious. Very pro and cool. During filmng, he kept looking over to them in between filming and his expression was one of expectation. Evn though in the drama he is like an oppa, in reality, he seems like someone in their early 20′s. In he last ep, his skin didnt look so good but here his face looked small and his skin was white. He looked like a child and looked pure and cute.
finally the filming finished and the actors came down. MN and TK were linking arms and looked very close! (Not like a couple but more like siblings hahah) SW looked like he was close with TK too and all 3 of them looked like close friends.
In this way, the event started and the actors walked in. Besides the fans in charge of taking photos, ohers were busy giving out the presents to the crew. The crew were very amazed at the personalised name labels… they especially liked the cigarettes! Alot of the crew members were like “Waaa there are even cigarettes?” The event team also included food esp ordered for the crew which the crew really liked and found amazing (what food it was will be revealed later on). The crew had to leave straight away for the other venue to prepare for filming, each team (eg camera,lighting etc) took the remaining presents from their group and left
So the actors sat down in the prepared seats (each with a different coloured box in front of if for the different person). TK saidlike a leader “One, two, three” nd they all opened the boxes at the same time.
After they opened the boxes, they all went “Wow wow!” and liked it alot. They really looked very touched. All the boxes were matched to each actor.
Inside the boxes had the specially made A.N.Jell glowsticks which the actors were all very amazed at and TK kept switching it on and off and playing with it.
They continued to “Wow wow” and looked at the presents one by one. Because there were so many presnts, the event team explained one by one how thy made that present, why they gave them that present etc. MN really liked the handkerchief and left it around her neck. The moment she saw the handkerchief, she said to TK “Hyung nim!!”
It’s probably because that MN is a girl she liked the cute things. All the presents prepared for her matched vry well and she really liked them.
YB DC gall also designed and made their own hoodie, one for each actor with the names – renai jang, ah bang hye, boolmae jung and hong star to give to them as a prsent.
TK liked the glowstick and said indeed this is made by YB DC gall. All 3 of them loved the hoodie and kept holding it up against themselves and looking at each other’s
Especially, TK really really liked the book made by overseas fans which had msgs and photos in it. He kept reading and looking at it and was very touched. There was a period of time where he didnt say anything and just kept reading.
He also said he really like his personal presents and was very surprised. MN seemed jealous lol
Myabe because SW is still a newcomer, he didnt know that such presents would be given and he seemed very surprised and really seemed to like it. He didnt say much but answered questions as the event team asked him. He kept saying thank you. He looked at the hoodie and said “Ah, i cant wear it now” and seemed sad. Also as fan service, in order for the photo to look nice, he removed the clothes and stuff on his legs and said to MN, should i wear this tomorrow? He confirmed that his hoodie had the initials for bool mae jung (BM jung)
Minam looked at the hoodie also and said let’s all wear it for the shooting of the last episode

All 3 actors looked atall the items one by one, including the little presents and asked about them. More than 7 hrs was spent in making one of the first present for MN, fortunately she liked it.
AFter, they lookedat the question paper from the DC gall and MN and SW started joking around after they read the questions.
they signed autographs then they took photos. The event team asked the actors to hold the presents they liked the most and hold them up for the photo (Yes, Geun suk held up our book!). SW said “Ok, then i’m going to pick this all up” and picked up the whole box kekeke
Anyway during the group shot, MN said to SW “Shin woo ah, our relationship is a dog catching relationship right? Come and catch dogs with noona” (if you remember back to previous ep when SW was talking about his country accent)
Another touching thing was the event team asked the actors to sign autographs for the overseas fans but coz the photogrpahers were busy taking group photos they couldnt. After the photos were finished, MN remembered that and said straightaway “That A4 piece of paper which we need to sign…”and went looking for the piece of paper (but what happened to it? MN and SW forgot to address he overseas fans on their autogrpah)
TK signed with a magic marker and MN said “I want to sign with a magic marker too”
All 3 actors seemed very happy and the event team felt that staying up for 4 days and 4 nights was worth it
They had to go and thanked everyone. TK said that he will go to the DC gall… MN said teh day that she left a msg on YB DC gall (this was 2 weeks ago or so?), TK was going to do it but MN ended pding it instead before him.
As they left, MN said ah we will see at Yeouido again
Both SW and TK kept saying thank you and one of the event team members brought out her notebook and showed TK the Bi bim myun parody from the YB DC gall

TK said he had seen the post title but had not clicked in to watch and laughed out loudly as he watched.
As the event was carried out, it turned into a press conference. There were other fans including chinese fans there not from the YB DC gall and was a bit confusing but all 3 actors were calm and nice to everyone.
There will be more details on what each actor said about each present later on.
The filming at Uiwang was finished and they moved onto Yeouido. The supper they ordered in advance was finally delivered. TK and SW had finished their filming and didnt go to Yeouido.
They arrived at Yeouido and there was only 1 filming car there. It was really really cold. When the pizza and chicken which they had ordered arrived, they left i in the car and waited for the filming team to arrive.
MN arrived and they called out to her “Mi nam ah” and she smiled and greeted them
They moved venues a bit and whle waiting they met with the marketing manager – the person who had helped them the most in this event!
The filming team was considerate and arranged for them to be able to park their car near the actors and filming crew. So the event team was able to prepare and wait comfortably inside the car. Because it was jeremy’s turn t film, there was alot of sa saeng fans (fans who followed and invaded into the private lives of the celebs). The event team saw a few taxis and also the chinese fans who came fromt e Uiwang site.
MN started filming and during this, Jeremy arrived!!
The presents were given to jeremy but because it was late night filming (it was past 12am) ad coz it was outdoors, they couldnttalk for long. But when they saw him, they had this thought: Hong Gi = Jeremy
His double eyelids were very pretty and even though it was cold, he looked at the presents one by one and thanked them. They told him that they came from the YB DC gall and he said that he didnt know what DC was. They asked whetherhe could come and leave a mg and he asked do u just sign up and leave a msg
veyr very cute!! (from another fan account, HOng gi actually asked whether u had to pay to sign up. LOL)
Hongstar saw the hoodie and liked it. They told him that they saw the concert and he said “Ah did you come to the concert?” and started talking alot about the concert. He asked whether many ppl went to see the concert and thoght that not many went but they told him that the YB DC gall were filled with fan accounts of the FT concert over the weekend and he was very happy.
Although he must be tired from filming and the concert, his expression was bright.
He needed to start filming and wanted to ask him for his autograph. Jolie called one of the fans by her nickname and called out “Shin woo ah” to her. Jeremy was like “Shin woo ah?” and laughed
He signed and told them to come to the concert in the future. That during the concert, that their live singing ability is so good you couldnt tell if it was live or lipsynch
then they saw manager ma but because he was still filming they couldnt give him the present and had to pass it on. They even prepared a prsent for his kid.
Because of filming they were very busy and the food continued to be in the car. The marketing manager came to tell them that the filming would finisharound 6-7am and told them to leave the food and just go. They said they couldnt do that and decided to co ntinue waiting.
They watche from afar as the actors continued filming. It was so cold and the crew really liked the hot packs which they had given the crew.
By this time only about 5 ppl fromthe event team were left. Becuase noone knew when the filming would finish so they couldnt sleep andket waiting. During this time, jeremy kept walking in front of them every now and again.
During a break, MN went back to her van for a bit and saw that they were still there adn she had her eyes wide openandsaid “You guys are still here?”
So the event team asked is it ok to give out the food now to the manager
the manager thanked them and took food over. MN stuck her head out fromt he front seat of her van and said to them “I will eat it well!
They also wanted to give it to jeremy but he had to start filming straight awayTT
Inside the car, they were drinking the warm drinks which the marketing manager had bought them
The crew came to their car to get the food and shared it around~ everyone kept saying thank you
MN told the crew taht she ate the food
THey wanted to give the director a present as well so they continued to wait.
after filming finished, they went to greet the director who thanked them for preparing such an event
they arrived at the first venue at 6 pm and ended at 6am the next day

After the YB DC gallery members visited the set on the 15th november 2009 and delivered the YB fan project to the cast, Jang Geun Suk left a message on the gallery the next day. In his message, he mentioned how touched he was by the our project. Here is a translation of his message

The production team tells us to be on standby… they are amazingly quick as they run around

Other members of the cast such as park shin hye and wang coordi have also left msgs but each time they have uploaded a personal photo or sth to prove their identity.. that’s the reason why ppl didnt believe it was geun suk when he left msgs)
Thank you so much to all the fans who love and pay attention to the drama but personally, i dont welcome ’sa saeng fans’ (sa saeng fans are those who invade into the private lives of celebrities eg stalk thm at their house, steal personal belongings of the stars etc.

The YAB Fighting Project
Being a fan of something is usually a good thing! A really, really good thing. It means you want good things for someone. You want people to be happy. So reading a letter like Jang Geun Seoks hurts. A lot.
To quote raahmose:
“JGS did the mature thing. The rates weren’t as well as they hoped. So he look at the value of his work and questioned it. Thanks to that we already had a grown up and mature person in this. So the fans didn’t have to be. Instead of nodding it off with him being great the oversea fans felt the overwhelming urge to do something. To show the cast and crew of ‘Minami shinyeo’ or ‘You are beautiful’ that they are valued and appriciated.”
The project’s idea was fairly simple: Write a nice message for the cast and crew on a bit of paper and take a picture with it. Be creative. Show your love.
To be honest, when this started out, we expected to receive maybe 20 pictures. Then we would have put them together in a quick clip. Paola (pao719) would printed them and/or burned them to be deliver to the front desk of a SBS branch.
Easy peasy. Childs play.
nokchan was at fault for underestimating the fan response. And she underestimated it a lot. So first of all: She wants to apologize. She apologizes for underestimating the full and fierce force of the overseas fans. Fans from Nepal, India, Tobago Trinidad, South America, USA, Canada, England, France, and the Philipines. There were so many countries that we are unable to count them all. And honestly if nokchan had tried to do it alone, it would have been an EPIC fail. But she wasn’t alone. Four people in four different countries, three time zones, two major projects (video clips and a book) united in one goal.
So at first maybe we should introduce the team:
choufy: She designed an exclusive logo for our project, which were used on the book cover and the cd cover. She also had a lot of communication with soompi members. She explained, updated and corrected information on soompi. She also gathered a lot of “cheer up” notes. She put together the pictures for the book that we printed out later on. She also consoled nokchan when she was walking the path between panic and a mental breakdown.
Cecila: She not only put up with nokchan for calling her Celine at the beginning but also launched and handled something really, really incredible. Thanks to her our little project was noticed by Hye In of DC Gallery. DC Gallery was launching their own fan project and was so touched by the effort of the overseas fans that she agreed to include our videoclips to their video cd, which they gave out to EVERY cast and crew member. Thanks to Hye In our books and our own YAB Project cds were also not just dropped of at the front desk of some SBS branch but taking DIRECTLY to the set.
Yes! A book. Or six books to be exact. Six books in full color. 143 pages. Full of love.
(yes, it sounds corny and we know that).
To clear impending questions. Almost all pictures and messages are in the books. Since some people sent one or more pictures of themselves we took only one. After all we had to be fair to everyone.
Pao719: At first Paola volunteered to print out the pictures and drop everything off at a SBS branch. In the end Paola ran all over Seoul to find the right copy shop to print our book. And she burned our own set of cds with the videos (by nokchan), with our logo and design as the cover. She picked up the books and handed them (and the cds) over to Hye In for delivery. She also took it on herself to outlay all the costs for now. Which were… a lot more then naive me expected. So please, if you can, even with a little amount. Please donate.
nokchan: She was in charge of putting together the received pictures into a videoclip and make it look as nice as possible. She also drew up the Facebook account and communicated with the people writing to yabfighting@googlemail.com
We really had… no time. Too much of a time crunch. Putting the book together was not only smashing the pictures together, but choufy organized them, so they mirrored the way they appeared in the video clip. They designed the front cover. And then the messages. All of the messages that Cecilia kindly translated so it was ensured that everyone was able to read them.
Since so many people decided to participate we gathered a lot of pictures, messages and creative posters. And of course we want to share. So we will upload parts of the book so you can get an idea. Of course you get to see the videos. We will give you all the details. But bit by bit. Because since the project finished those stupid things (our lives) demand renewed attention.
